It is organized into 12 chapters ("modules"), each of which focuses on an aspect of writing your screenplay. The writing style is informal and personal, and content draws upon many conventional resources in addition to my own personal screenwriting experience, both as a writer and a teacher. Within each module are hyperlinks to supportive material and examples that are more easily organized than within the linear structure of a conventional book. This "layered" hyperlinked organization results in a quick, easy path through the material, each particular path being determined by individual student needs.

Along the way, a writing track keeps the focus on the screenplay you develop through the course (the track sometimes branches into two parts, one for "tree people", who like to plan everything ahead of time, and another for "forest people", who like to figure things out as they go along).

Additionally, you get to look over the shoulder of the author as he follows the same writing track, developing an original screenplay along with you.
